O.K., this hasn't been asked in what...a month?
« on: August 09, 2005, 07:54:05 AM »
What is the "R" factory quoting for a delivery time now, if an order were placed today?

The reason I ask is, soon my R9 will be here, and already people are asking me about it. You know once they get their hands on it, they'll want one, and I'd like to have an answer as to how long they will have to wait.

Thanks

So, how long have you waited?

Last delivery wait time was 5 mos., as far as my order was/is concerned. Mine's due in Sept. sometime...

As stated in my earlier posts, I'm in my ninth month.

When I called the R factory last October, I was told three or four month wait. we ordered in November.

I'm just thinking with the new facility production would be up.

I should have the R9 in two weeks.

Mine was ordered in October and is supposed to ship out in another week or two according to the factory, so that's just over 10 months!
Once they get settled in and things are running smoothly, that should improve dramatically, I would hope.

The new truck I just ordered will take 8-10 weeks.  Heck, I am a Rohrbaugh owner -- I can do that standing on my head!  ;D

DDGator, what kind of a truck did you order? Great Employee discounts on the Big Three!
Yet, you probably could have found the truck you want on the lot at a teriffic price.....unlike finding a R9 ;D

Well, the "employee discounts" and such from the Big 3 are on 2005 models...

I know this may surprise you, but I have a bit of a penchant for getting "hard to get" items.  I was one of the first people around to have a Chrysler PT Cruiser.  I had to wait 3 months when I ordered it.

This is my latest order:

The good news is that I have a GM affiliation and I can get the GM Supplier price anyway.  ;)

I like those myself, but the little pick-up type.

The H3 isn't available in a pick-up style, at least yet...

You are thinking of the H2 SUT.  Nice, but BIG and a lot more cash.

Duane:

I just turned a slight shade of green from pure envy.  Congratulations on your H3!  I saw one on the Interstate last week and was so enamored of it that I almost ran off the side of the road.  Enjoy, my friend.  Enjoy.

Thanks, Richard.  The order is in, but it really will be 8 to 10 weeks.  I will post a pic or two when my new "Urban Assault Vehicle" arrives.

The H3's ability to ford 24 inches of water might yet come in handy this year!

The pic above comes pretty close to exactly what I ordered.
