Yankee: Alternatively, you may wish to drive your Bugatti into a salt estuary with your NP3 Plus R9 on the passenger seat.

The good news is that the R9 will probably survive from the salt estuary excursion.

LOL...I bet it would! Would look great in a salt water fish tank too.  ;D

On another note, I noticed that my new model R9 has circular machining marks on the inside of the slide towards the rear. Looks like something circular was stamped into the slide several times. Thoughts?

You may have seen this link.  Some of the post reference some marks in the barrel left over from the rifling process, maybe.

Thanks for that reminder, KJ; I had forgotten about the Outers Nitro Solvent that was referenced in that thread.

I will be sending it back to Rohrbaugh next week. IMO things like this should not be able to slip through quality control. In contrast, the machining and finish on my previously owned gun is perfect. I will post some pictures.

Great News: The Bugatti Veyron that wandered into the salt water sold at salvage auction for $368,000, triple the estimate; there is help out there for us.

Here are the machining marks. As you can see they are also on the slide rails.  I know they will probably replace the slide, but this is sad...

Great photos and as you stated, poor quality control.

Does Robar offer NP3 Plus for a Veyron Bugatti? If so, how much?

WOW!  That is great news.  Sold  for a third of the original price.

CCW.  Sorry about that link.  I misread your post, thinking barrel instead of slide.  Brain didn't connect with the word.

I agree on the quality control issue, very poor.  That's not usually the case.
