Convert R9 to 380?

So I saw this on E-Bay, a 380 slide and barrel only:

I assume the recoil spring in the R9 (stock) would be "too strong" for the less powerful 380 round, or am I wrong?  Could one simply replace slide/barrel and have a working 380?  Just thought it would be fun to have a 'conversion kit' should that be all thats needed.  All input welcome.  Thanks guys!

IIRC you need a .380 specific magazine as well.

I guess it is a 380 slide so a different extractor is not needed, my mistake.
