I am looking at the M-5 for my 1911.

Don't have any experience with Birgade Gun Leather, but that is some good looking stuff. :)

I have no experience with them either and it appears it may be a while before anyone can.
They have suspended taking new orders because of there backlog.
I do have experience with Eugene Oppe @ RnR Gun Leather
http://www.rnrgunleather.com/
He made this one for my Kimber Ultra. It was under $200 and is some fine workmanship.

That's a sweet looking holster for your Kimber. Ill have to check with them.

He is saying 2 to 3 week turnaround time, Eugene is very easy to work with.

Thank you John.

The OWB2 looks like a nice design.

Don't forget, the wife's going to be mad! ;D
-
What she don't know won't hurt her. ::)
-
Mine knows before I get in the door! ;D
-
I know how you feel. I usually get is that new. I dont know how she can tell the difference. It must be a womans intuition.
-
It's a built in radar. I have no defense. :D
-
You would be a rich man if you came up with one.
Ill take serial #2

I've come up with what works for me. I just say, getting a new gun (or holster) today, dear; she says, that's nice.

Yesterday my wife pulled into the driveway and asked me to get a box out of the trunk of her Lexus. It was so big I was surprised it was in the trunk. It was an unmarked white box. I took it inside the house for her , put it on a table, and then left without a word. Now I think it is driving her crazy that I have not asked what was in the box (Which is still Factory sealed.) She could not fathom not asking if I were the one with the box. Of course she also does not understand why guys like the "silent treatment" ;D

Chief:
You're a better man than I am. I would have gotten up in the middle of the night, opened the box so as to leave no trace, identified the contents, and then resealed it to await developments. ;)
-
I think the Chief has the toy acquistion program all figured out.
-
If he doesn't, it's just a matter of time! :D
-
He probably has a X-ray machine hidden in the garage allowing him to view the contents without disturbing the packaging.
-
I'm thinking, he's more practical! ;D

Well, found out what it was, (3) Lamps for the living room. My wife is in the "I am tired of this furniture theme, I need to change it" mode. Now with my wife, this can get exciting ;D, she never seems to get it right at first so I save all receipts and get on a first name basis with the "Return desk" people. So far have returned
one rather large persian rug, (2) Paintings, and (1) mirror.
And the adventure continues......
But I have learned to just let her go, as much as she complains about it, I know she enjoys it. And it allows me to purchase things without too much argument, like more guns, and the 55" 3D LED/LCD Flat screen I watched the Superbowl on ! (I just do not tell her how much my stuff costs :) .... She actually complains I do not buy enough for myself.

One nice lady! :)

Every year I let her pick where she would like to go for vacation. I put no limits on her. Drives her crazy deciding where to go. Once she picks location she arranges everything. (All I have to do is pay) She is all over the map, one year is Ireland, Next Sedona, after that Smokie Mountains. Again, I hear lots of complaints about how hard it is, but I would not take it away from her.
