New pup comes home
« on: March 03, 2009, 06:54:28 PM »
Until today I had only held my pup but had not heard her bark, that changed as I made it to the kennel (dealer) this afternoon and brought my pup home. She was born on Feb. 3 / 09 just 21 days before her new masters 60th birthday and is the R9s breed. (my gift to me)
When we got home we took a walk out in the yard and she barked fourty times with no problems. For now the pups house will be a Meco Batman pocket holster. What a joy to hold and shoot. Thanks for all the great info on this site.

Happy Birthday, and congrats on the new Pup!
Great report. What ammo did you use?

In light of the fact that it was later in the day and there was still snow on the ground, pretty rare for NC this time of year, I just grabbed some old ball ammo (WWB) to shoot yesterday. I will try some SD ammo when the weather is more favorable, they are calling for it to be in the 70s this weekend. John

Thanks for the Birthday wishes, the only thing that would have been better, is if the pup had the same birthday. But I couldn't be any happier with her.  John
