Thanks to RJ, I now have a R-9 dummy to use until I can get one of my own.  I'll post a picture soon.

I had been planning to get a front pocket holster for my new R9 but really like the idea of legal belt holster that can be carried in open view (ala like a cell phone).  Does anyone know for sure that open carrying of this case is legal (in Texas)?  Thanks

You can carry in a fanny pack which basically conceals and hides the shape of the gun, so I don't see how this would be any different.

Jim,

There sure are a lot of holster threads going on now. A lot of good ideas to look at. A lot of people wanting good holsters. I look forward to seeing some pictures of your designs.

Except for a few cosmetic differences, the design is based on RJ Hedley's front and rear pocket holsters. He has been teaching me how he makes his holsters.

Jim.

Is this one you do?

I need something that will not print "GUN" in thin dress type pants, but allow quick presentation.

I can build one that is very similar except for a few different accents.  Look at the front pocket holster on the top of page one.  I did that one for a Seecamp.  I can build the same thing but add the forward wing if you would like.

The photo at the top of page one is blank. Can you please repost? I have never handled this type of holster. Is all the detail in the inside with the outside flat? A picture of both sides would be nice.

Thanks,

Rick

The outside of the holster is Flat to print like a wallet.  All detail is on the inside of the holster.
