Title: touching up R9S stealth
Post by: WLJ on March 17, 2010, 06:47:38 PM
First post

Just bought a used, but unfired R9S stealth and there's a tiny (I mean tiny) little spot on the slide where the black flaked off. Any preferred touch-up method for the Stealth finish.

thanks

I have no idea on a repair for the Titan Kote finish.

If you just want to hide it, I'd try a Birchwood Casey Presto or Super Black pen.

WL.  Welcome to the Forum.  Congratulations on getting the Stealth.  Don't have a way to repair the finish, but I'm sure with all the knowledge here, someone will step up to the plate.  Again welcome.

I believe Birchwood Casey sells a marker in a couple of finishes for such things.
Here are a couple of links to there touchup products.

Thanks guys
The Birchwood Casey Flat black is what I already used, I was just wondering if there was a touch-up specific to the Steath.

thanks
