lubrication
« on: September 18, 2010, 12:02:26 PM »
For sure there are many kinds and types of lub for a gun and many good ones at that. For a couple of years now I have been using ZEP 2000 on all my slide action rifles and pistols. Not one malfunction since I started using it. And I did have them before. Weekend before last 8 of us went to my brothers ranch and shot a lot of my guns with several types and kinds of ammo. ARs, AKs, and Kahrs, Rohrbaughs, Glocks all 9s. Two of the shooters were female one a sophomore in highschool, the other had never shot a gun. No malfunctions of any kind. Compared to other lubs for the quantity ZEP 2000 is inexpensive.

Thanks. I know. (Just check my gun room.  8) )

I consider Ballistol to be "the ultimate survival juice" -- cleans and lubricates your guns and gear, starts fires in the rain, repels ticks and mosquitoes, frees rusted or frozen locks . . . . H***'s bells, I'd probably even be using it as after-shave lotion if it weren't for my little wife's objection.

Vitalis is also flammable, here is the product info.

Vitalis restores control making your hair easy to manage. + Use Vitalis Liquid before you blow-dry. Vitalis Liquid restores the control that the hot air from a blow-dryer can remove. + Apply Vitalis Liquid to dry hair any time of the day to keep hair looking good all day long.
