Handgun Maintenance and Cleaning
« on: September 12, 2011, 08:17:25 AM »
I read a lot of "gunzines," but every now and then I run across an article that stands out as deserving to be shared. This piece by Brian Jensen at GUNSAMERICA is one of those, and while it breaks no new ground it's lessons are fundamental and worth occasional review:

As is well documented on this Forum, I am a long-time proponent of the virtues of Ballistol. One thing which I have not mentioned, however, is that Joyce does not particularly like the odor of Ballistol. I on the other hand like the odor of both Ballistol and Brasso. To me (borrowing Robert Duvall's line as Lieutenant Colonel Kilgore in Apocalypse Now), they each smell like . . . victory.

But I digress. The bottom line is that this FrogLube looks so good that I have ordered a supply. A field-trial report will follow in due course.

Thank you for the link, Tracker.
