I did it again!
« on: July 25, 2012, 09:41:53 PM »
Well I did it again..............after a few days of carrying a full size gun , extra mag, back up gun, knife and flashlight....I put one of my R9s in a Milt sparks holster in my front pocket and went forth ...............remembering why I bought it 8 years ago! I just don't have the discipline to go properly armed everyday. I admire those who do.

What's  "properly armed"?

Look at the gentleman from Fla. who chased 2 armed thugs 1/2 his age out of the cafe with only a 380!

Mindset/preparedness/training  is 90% ?  95%?

properly armed=full size handgun, magazine holder that holds a extra mag and flashlight and a folding knife.
Many times when only carrying a Seecamp or R9 I have felt not properly armed. If all you have is a 32 Seecamp against two attackers.........good luck! If just going down the block to the store I often carry a 32 Seecamp. If going to down town Cleveland I'll carry a M&P with two extra mags......mindset/preparedness/training=100%.......preparedness(properly armed)=30%....JMO

I almost always a gun with a backup mag and a side blade at a minimum.  I just got my recluse holster, and am waiting to qualify so i can carry off  duty.  I really should consider a small LED light, but obviously shot placement is key.

With 2 attackers...1 round in attacker #1 to maim... 2nd attacker shoot to kill, then finish off attacker #1.
