In sslaters 1/26 post he mentions a batch of new stiffer recoil springs which threw off the timing of his R9. I got the new mag springs and since the instal all of my previous feeding problems cleared up.
I also got several new replacement recoil springs at the same time,but haven't yet changed from the old one.This is starting to sound a little like Alice in Wonder Land."One spring makes you happy the other makes you sad:while the spring that Maria sent me has had me feeling glad".
Question: Are there new stiffer recoil springs?
If yes : How are they identifyed and what is the fix;coil cutting/amputation etc?
