Why is the R9 so often photographed from the "public side"? I am borrowing a phrase from the knife world. A right handed gentleman would carry a knife or sword with the blade facing the rear. This would be the "public side". The private side would be the portion of the sword hanging against the carrier's hip.
With the R9, I like the "private side" photos better in which the barrel is facing left; the non-ejector profile view of the R9. Yet the factory, the (scarce) photos seen in magazines and collector's guides (and many of you on the forum) seem to prefer the "public side". What am I not getting here?
I think Corey's photo of the ivory gripped R9 is the best photo I have seen of the R9, period. Am I wrong? Am I a bad person? Who wants gum?
