Its to bad "whoever" now wants it on a auction site. Now Joe Blow will end up with it and not even appreciate it for what it is. It will be bought as a investment and not as a treasure like it would have been on the forum.  I guess big money trumps all this time.  I know a forum member could still end up with it buts its not likley.  Sad.

Guys, I know the use of an external auction site is not anyone's preference.  I obviously can't control that...the decision was beyond my pay grade.  I was a little worried about just how it would go down doing an auction on the forum with something this hot and was hoping not to have to make a call on a "photo finish," but I would have dealt with it.

I believe that a forum member will take this home because the only people who will really understand the significance of this item are on this forum, and are posting on this thread.

As for the "big money" aspect -- just know that the proceeds are going 100% to a as of yet named charity, so any attempt to maximize the proceeds is solely for altruistic purposes.

Corey -- if that is what I think it is, you are getting closer, yes...at least in part.

As Cory has mentioned, being it will be an "out of house", (this forum) type auction, it will probably go for a bid that is "like DD" said, "probably outside of my paygrade"....bummer

Some perps out there have "lots" of moula to burn...and depending on how the "description" of the "item" is worded, I am thinking it will not matter, for perps pay a lot for things at times based soley on how something looks in conjunction with the desciptive supplied.

So I tend to agree with Mr. Cory, this thing is going to be "hard" to get a hold of I think.
