Does anyone know when they went from the bead finish to polish finish on original 25acp guns.

All of the original LWS25's left the factory with a bead blasted finish.  They were produced in New Haven, Ct and not Milford.

Some were later polished at the factory when the slides were replaced do to cracking around the guide rod holes.  The guide rods were eliminated as it was determined that they were not needed.

As far as I know, all the Southwick 25's were polished.

My memory failed me here.

The slides were marked Milford and the pistols were made there.

All of the early boxes were marked New Haven, Ct as that was their mailing address.  The Seecamps must have lived in New Haven so they had a PO box there.  Milford is about 11 miles from New Haven.  Sorry for the mistake.
