I picked up my R9 today from Mi.'s dealer John Johnson of Performance Firearms. I previously only had contact with John over the net. He was always friendly, helpful, and did everything he said he would. After meeting him today, my impression was confirmed. He is a staunch second ammendment supporter and a very kind fellow... I look forward to further business with this gentleman.... Thanks, Jim ;)

I am going to pick up mine in the morning.. ;D
I am picking up 2 pistolas from John-R9s and a P7 psp..
Nothing but great things to say about him..
I wouldn't be driving 3 hours one way otherwise.. 8)

Hey Brenden, are you coming from "up north",, Jim

I'm picking mine up tomorrow as well (along with a used SIG P245 I picked up from someone). He's a great guy to deal with.

Thanks all! :) It was a pleasure to finally meet you face to face, Jim. Hope your son's foot heals up quickly.
I won't be able to get out to try my new R9s until Sunday after the SAFR auction Saturday night since it's going to be the "display model" there.... :(

Wanted to say thanks for everything and I look forward to future dealings with you..
Ohhhh my aching wallet.. ;)

Me too, Brenden. And thanks for all of the unexpected but welcomed "gifts"! :) Will proudly wear the "Peace through Superior Firepower" pin beginning at tonight's SAFR Dinner! ;)

Hi John, sorry I couldn't make it to the dinner last evening, I left Caro early this morning to pick up a travel trailer in Indiana and after 700 miles, I didn't get home until 11 this evening!! I hope you had a good turn out and raffled the R9. Jim

Yes, I'm sorry you couldn't make it, Jim. We had a good turnout with good food and good speakers: Oleg Volk http://www.a-human-right.com/ and Alan Gottlieb, editor of Gun Week magazine and founder of CCRKBA-http://www.ccrkba.org/ , among others, were excellent.
Alas......the R9s was not adopted though. No bidders. :'(
Oh well, there is one lucky guy who will find out tomorrow his waiting time just dropped from five months to whenever he can make it by here! ;)
