The 1938 Nazi Weapons Law is alive and well in the United States, and is called, "The Gun Control act of 1968", and is enforced by the modern day gestapo, known as the BATF.

Justin .. excellent stuff .... I will archive these and put them on the new mini site I am working on - very useful reference indeed.  Thank you. :)

All comparisons are useful .... makes me think I should take one or two similar shots of other stuff that I have.

Cool pictures!  Thank you!  Your pictures helped me to better understand the size.  I have a P7M8, G27 and P32.  You picked some great pistols for comparison.

BTW, nice hardware!  :)

Nice collection. Are they all yours? I believe most on this forum have a gun safe full. How else would one have the ability to appreciate what we have? For me, it's an ongoing education and pleasure. Thanks for the pics.

Pics are the closest most people come to seeing the Rohrbaugh before purchase.  It's nice to have a few guns that others have so they can see them next to a Rohrbaugh for comparison.

Guys,

Having put a bit of time to the FAQ site this evening ... I have added a second set of my own pics ..... to add to Justin's.

More hopefully interesting comparisons as well as a few in the category of ABSURD!  :D ;D  I only chose a few of my handguns for this excercize!

More comparisons.

The FAQ site is still embryonic but is availableHere

Justin,
Is that your Steyr? How do you like it?
I had a Steyr AUG that I bought before the ban and regrettably I sold it.

Yeah it's my Steyr USR, the postban (H.W. Bush '89 ban) variant of the AUG.  The '94 AW ban sunset doesn't affect the ban on this gun.  I'm selling it for that reason in favor of an AR-15.  The USR and AUG are way over priced all things considered.

By the way, I can't decide who screwed us over more: Reagan with the '86 NFA, H.W. Bush with the '89 assault weapons ban, or Clinton's '94 assault weapons ban. At least it's expected from a Democrat. The new Bush is a weenie on 2nd amendment rights just like his father, though certainly better than "I'm a hunter" John Kerry.

>>Justin...

I am not familiar with the Steyr USR.  Could you please post a full size pic of this weapon, and give a basic run down on what it is...?...and what it isn't - as in why you are selling it...??  Or perhaps this should be taken to the appropriate thread for buying/selling weapons other than Rohrbaugh...lol...!...Thanks...TW<<

Actually I have a buyer already.  I'm just waiting for his FFL to come in the mail so I can ship it.  Learn all about it here: http://www.steyr-aug.com/usr.htm

Here are some comparison pics (click on image to see larger photo):
  • My R9s next to my 3913TSW (my favorite compact 9mm) ...

  • My R9s next to my NAA in .32ACP (the gun that I carry when I'm "not carrying" -- which is now going to be replaced by my R9s) ...

  • My R9s next to my S&W 342 (the 342 is lighter than the R9 but the R9 is smaller and holds two extra rounds) ...
