Oh boy, I just got home from my dealer here in Mi., jumped out of the blazer, loaded her up and fired away!!!  I shot 6, 1.5in. groups at 50 yds!!!  Ah, just kidding ya!!!  I shot at the base of a dead tree at 12 ft.  What an absolutely wonderful firearm!!!!  The recoil is what I expected, but not bad getting back on  target.  I really didn't feel the recoil was much different than the Kel-Tec 380.  She carries just great in a front pocket holster with rather snug jeans.  The R9 feels like a pistol, not a toy!!  I will have a much better feeling with this little 9 than I did with my 380!!  I'm as pleased as a peach in Georgia sunshine!!!  Jim

It does indeed feel very much less of a ''toy'' when compared to other small pieces.  Hope you'll get to throw some more lead soon - I mean, gotta get the pup broke in!

Oh don't worry, I'll take a bunch of pictures.  I want to do quite a few comparison pictures.  I have a few other pocket guns I can use for those, including a Kel-Tec P-3AT, S&W 340PD, Walther PPK/s, Beretta Jetfire .25ACP, maybe a few others.
