SOLD

Rohrbaugh R9S 110

Up for sale is a very early and rare R9

The serial number is 110 with no R prefix (rare)
(The first serial numbers began with 100)
Slide is marked R9S (rare) with sights
Early light grey / plum anodized frame
Produced in Farmingdale NY
Blue / black carbon fiber grips

Not many were made having both the no R prefix serial number, and the R9S marked slide.

I purchased this from the original owner several years ago.
If I recall correctly, he ordered or purchased it at the first Shot Show where the R9 made an appearance.
It looks like the previous owner has fired it, and it has light marks, but I have stored in the safe and I have not used it.
 
Please review the photos in the following post for the condition of the handgun.

Factory case and two magazines are included with the R9.

Wow . . . . . I Mean WOW! 

That is about as rare a find as any when it comes to early R9 Pistols!

Beautiful handgun there. So much history to be told about those first 48 plus pistols!

One teaser:  Look at the back of the slide by the finger serrations. Notice that the back of the slide has a point on it, not yet rounded by hand like the later models. Also notice under the front of the pistol. . . . . The dust cover area is rounded off, by hand! We liked the CNC machined look better later on so we stopped rounding off that area of the frame. So cool to see again!
