Should we all consider buying a box of Hornady ammo today?
Steve Hornady, President of Hornady Manufacturing, responding to Governor Cuomo:
"The State of New York did one of the most despicable acts ever perpetrated by any state by asking New York banks, financial institutions and insurance companies to stop doing business with the gun and ammo industry. While it may not make a difference to New York, Hornady will not knowingly allow our ammunition to be sold to the Government of the State of NY or any NY State agencies. Their actions are a blatant and disgusting abuse of office and we won’t be associated with a government that acts like that. They should be ashamed."

New York State Government is pathetically Liberal. Hate to use a saying that is overused to described this place, but it works
New York State is nothing more than a "Stink Hole" of a state!
Can't wait to move out of here, Long Island especially with all of their extremely unsafe drivers on the roads, which also are "Stink Holes".
Was just in Harleysville, PA area for the weekend. Fantastic spot. Perfect roads, zero tailgaters and pleasant people. Love it there!

Maybe Hornady could provide the ammo for a face off duel at dawn between Cuomo and de Blasio.

I was serious! :D

You were about 20 minutes from me! I'm glad you enjoyed PA.

Wow ~ Thanks Will. You never know. Karl & I and the family may end up there in just a few years.
Getting a few things settled and then we're out of Long Island!

Ok, I'll play. Just got these this afternoon.
(Sorry for being a day late)

"Critical Defense" ammo did not work for me in the R9 several years ago. It was attributed to hard primers which were outsourced by Hornady. Things may have changed since then but once burned, twice shy. I still have about 25 boxes of it.

Thanks for the warning tracker.
I haven't tried them yet in the R9, the gold dots are probably going to stay in the other one I carry.
However I do know that the CZ loves them, so that is probably where they are destined.....................but I wanted to tie them to our hosts request on this forum in the picture.

They did not ignite consistently in my Rohrbaugh either.
I run Gold Dot exclusively in mine.
As to buying products to show support for companies that support my views,
I wholeheartedly agree that we should, and I do.
I try not to do business with companies that go against my principles, as well.
Money talks...and it hits 'em where it hurts.

Gold Dots are great for the R-9.
I bought these for the Springfield 911 that I am testing.

Nice looking gun...

Thanks, it's a 'Farm Park' like we discussed in another thread.

Im from California Eric so I know your pain. The Liberals have absolutely destroyed this once great state. Im hoping for a conservative Governor in this upcoming election.

All you can do is pray.

A more expeditious solution might be to put one foot after the other in a not too far eastward direction.
