The one word in my house that my wife won't tolerate is Duccatti! Rohrbaugh, Guardian, Seecamp, Keltec, Sig, Weatherby etc. are all OK, But Ducatti and she comes unglued. I just count my blessings and shut up! Sometimes you learn to take " Yes " for an answer!

Mike -- I feel your pain.  In my house the word is "Cessna."

Mike,

Did you mention Porsche?

This is my old 993. Replaced it with a 05, 997.

I need four wheels under me,

Bill

Bill,
Now, that's what I'm talking about! 4 great wheels and being uninhibited about not having any sense of balance. What a great car. They say that great minds think alike, but if I'm involved I've brought the group ave. waaay down.
But boy do you have great taste. Good luck with the "05" and enjoy.
I learned a long time ago that it's never too late to have a happy childhood! And I'm really enjoying this time around.
( I think! d*mn Lipitor!)

Bill, the car is still on the dealer's lot. If you & your wife want details, I'll be happy to supply.

Mike, you only go aroud once. (so I'm told) Always wanted one. Now I even get to wash it.

Regars.

Bill - nice wheels!!!  I have always had a passion for muscle cars and still want a Corvette or Cobra!  Trouble is bikes and guns have taken precedence! Oh and model airplanes too!

I do tho still like my four wheels as well as two and made my compromize by staying with a truck - space to haul planes, shooting stuff etc - add trailer- then haul bike or big planes.

Not so new now - 2001 Silverado 1500, Leer (Browning) cap and a Thule pod (holds lots of rifles or plane wings!)  :)

Chris,

You’ve got a great set up.

I use to ride motorcycles, even owned two Harley’s. I found I had no respect for the right grip. Just had to go as fast as the bike would go.  Had one to many close calls. My fault. Haven’t been on one in 22 + years. Still don’t trust myself.

Every spring I get the bug. But, to date, have not given in.

Love your toys.

Bill

Took a look Tom ....... (drool) - but realistically, knowing what sorta ''on the road'' spec I'd like - I could see a ''project'' getting up to $100k!! :o

I think I'll still stick to dreaming!  ;) :)

Tom,
You are the MAN! You can hook anybody up with anything. I have met very few people as totally connected and wired into the system as you, and that was in the Army. But you top them all. Cobra's, Seecamps, R-9s's, I can't wait to see what's next. I hope "Fly" wants a Huey! I'm still amazed that you could pull a Cobra out of your hat. What a great and fun car. All I can think is that you must be a Texas Ranger and you have some photo's of Santa!
Any way keep up the good work and watch your e-mail because you are the "Go to guy" now, for sure!

Mike, Actually you can buy a surplus Huey H model. They are cheap, buy 2 and use the parts from one to totally update the other. A friend in Dallas has one and it's flying. He also has 2 F8's, and is updating and restoring one of them using parts from the other. What a world we live in, one can even get a MIG.   Tom
