Worth every penny . . .
« on: August 08, 2005, 12:06:52 PM »
Having been in law enforcement for the past 28 years, I've carried cannon,  gatling guns, and every new "wonder" gun that came along. I live in Southern Louisiana, hot and humid, where shoulder holsters and the like are way too hot and uncomfortable. Enter the R9s, small, reliable,  and the utmost quality. I shoot this little pistol just about as well as my full size Sigs, Glocks, and H&K's. I've had to use my pistol in the line of duty many times, and feel completely comfortable with this pistol. (I do carry two spare mags). Expensive, not at all. Its the gun you'll find on me for the rest of my life.              Kerry

Well said Kerry. One can own the most wonderful gun in the world with all the great options, but; if you don't have it with you when you really need it because it is too big, bulky & etc., it is not much good.     Tom

I feel the same way.  It is worth the money.

It's nice to always have it  with you, and not be aware of its presence.

Kerry - you will find much agreement I think.  I still carry large, viz 226 ST but for BUG and sometimes primary, the R9 is for me the ultimate.

It has a special and unique place in the pocket gun category.

Never fails, If they hold it, examine it, and shoot it, they are sure to buy it. Maybe two! :-X ::)

Great Testimony!
Nicely worded, and it sure says a lot about that little pistol.
You're correct in saying worth every penny.
