The 1938 Nazi Weapons Law is alive and well in the United States, and is called, "The Gun Control act of 1968", and is enforced by the modern day gestapo, known as the BATF.

So it would appear. Got a backup several weeks ago that had the black grips.

AFAIK - all the blue CF grips are used up - and so yeah - I'd expect all output now to be the black - and the dark frame.

Justin2992,

Thanks for posting that picture.  My grips looked to be darker than the regular blue grips, so I thought they were the new black ones.  Until you posted that picture, I hadn't seen the black grips.  I guess it was just the lighting in the photographs I was looking at, but mine are no where near that dark!

Being color blind sucks!  ;D

I don't understand why black grips would be cheaper than blue ones if the material is the same and that APPEARS to be the case.

It is the same material, and no -- its not cheaper.

The R-Bros were originally thinking about switching to G-10 -- not for cost savings, but because it is much easier to work with than the very hard carbon fiber.  Ultimately they decided to stick with the CF, at lesat for now.

I figured it would be black grips...I was actually asking about the black frame.  I'd never seen one like that...maybe it's just the lighting in the pics or I had only seen very early guns.  The blacker the better.

But it already has a bid -- mine.  I missed out on the one I had on order when the hurricane hit -- so I thought I'd take this opportunity to try to acquire one again.

I'm sure that I could be outbid, although I won't divulge my maximum bid -- but I'm hoping no one here tries  :'( ...and, it wouldn't be for just a dollar more.  :-/
