Very nice!  These are available now?  I was actually looking at an old thread about them just today.  Where to order and how long did it take to get them?

Took me about 2 weeks.......Kevin said there would be more colors/woods available-not all the ones in the thread are available now...............They really look good, went on easily.. The right side grip is cut out to allow for the trigger spring mechanism so the grips are an easy bolt on/swap with the stock. They change the entire look of this well made little gun and really dress it up. Remember to use either medium threa locker or clear nail polish to the screws when replacing them.................................................

How much extra width did the grips add to the pistol?  The prior thread mentioned 1/16 extra thickness, but I don't know if that was per-grip or for the pair.

Oh, and how well did they fit the pins prior to installing the screws?  I had a bad experience with aluminum grips that flopped around without the screws and I don't want to go there again. :-)

It fit real snug-perfect, like the stock grips. The estra width on the grip is negligible at best-the 1/16" # may be correct-for both. To me it is not noticeable at all. I couldn't even imagine the R9 all "plain Jane" again. The wood grips are such a rich color pattern it truly is amazing.
As far as the fit prior to putting on screws-snapped right on.

robfxlr:

Glad to hear you're happy with the grips.

We'll have more available in the future, and will post in the classified section when they are.
