Durability and out of shape

Still amazed by how well the pup and it's Hedley Holster hold up to contantly being drenched in water, steam, sweat, and just about any type of ingredient imaginable, my 642 had rust on the trigger and some of the internals after one day.  (Belly aching about getting back in the swing of spending 12-15 hrs/day in that suana deleted.)

And speaking of the durability of a Hedley holster, here is one of his so-called "Back-Pocket" models which I have owned for the past six years.  By my calculation, I have carried it for more than one thousand days, many of those in hot and humid conditions.  It has been immersed in various creeks, rivers, and ponds, not to mention the Atlantic Ocean.  From my perspective, the only effect which all of this use and abuse has had on the holster is to give it a certain "patina" that I find attractive.  

I continue to assert that if you own a Hedley holster you own a work of art in gun leather.
