Winchester Silver Tips.....

Okay, not sure it this is the right place to put this post, but was thinking, how cool would a silvertip look in a nickel case….come on Winchester, do it….

I was thinking about that the other day and thought they used to have nickel cases; probably wrong, it is silverTIP.

Last time I had silvertips was back in the 80's so don't recall, but don't think they had nickle cases.  I think the ones I had back then were for a .45LC.

I have some Winchester .454 260 gr. PTHP Platinum Tips now, boxes of 20 that have the nickel cases; cool lookin', for sure.

Nothing wrong with hanging on to a few boxes of surplus ammo.  I have some (okay lots) 30.06 Armor Piercing, in enbloc clips, bandoleers, and spam cans…..never know when the zombies are going to invade.  Learned long ago that if you are in a fair fight, you didn’t plan properly….

I hope, but I fear I'll have to arm my anti-gun neighbors down the road.  Once they figure out that their survival depends on it they'll come knocking.  I belive in keeping 1,000 rounds for every gun in the house....umm, I might need a 1.4C fire symbol on my front door.  Good thing I live in the woods.....

The only Winchester ammo I have that is nickel cased is the Winchester Ranger in all calibers.
