Hog Taming
« on: April 16, 2011, 11:42:06 PM »
Another wonderful day in Toadville.  Been taming a new hog these past couple of days.….she is a beauty.  Carried the R-9 in my vest pocket…what a jewel.  Life is Good!  I do have a final range report on the SOLO if I can ever get around to writing it instead of riding all over heck.  Gun worked great, some of the ammo I tried didn’t.

Thanks all, this Super Gilde is the latest addition to the Hogpen.  I also have a 03 Low Rider, 100th Anniversary Edition.  A 2011 Street Glide I got back in Aug…some of you may recall, a couple Iron Head Sportsters and a Shovelhead Super Glide.  This one is a 2011 Super Glide…looks a lot like a Low Rider…as this one pretty much replaced the Low Rider that is no longer made.   I really love the Street Glide but wanted a stripped down basic bike with the same 96 cubic inch engine and six speed.  Picked this one up in Tallahassee yesterday.  Has about 300 miles on it now and I’m not disappointed.  Handles and rides great.  Attached a couple pix.  The silver/black bike is the 2003 LowRider….I was putting an auto adjusting primary chain tensioning unit on it.  About cut my finger off that day hacksawing a shim…Friends, don’t drink and hacksaw… :-[  The other is the Street Glide from last August.
