I'm back!
« on: July 21, 2012, 07:32:15 AM »
Having sold my R9S approximately 2 years ago and having been sorry about it almost immediately - I purchased a 4xxxx lightly used R9S Stealth yesterday! I'm so happy - it's missing a grip screw it probably came out while shooting 2 boxes of ammo yesterday, which makes me think now I have an excuse to get some VZ grips which were not perviously available. Having done a bit of reading looks like I'll need some O rings. Anyway the forum is great so's the gun and happy to be back in the fold! lol

Welcome back and enjoy that new PUP!

I would purchase some of Yankee's grip screws and o-rings.

Amacro,

Welcome back indeed! I am glad you have purchased another Pup! There were just some good posts about the grip screws. I liked the tip about cleaning the threads in the frame and on the screw with brake cleaner. You might want to try this before the VZ's and "O" rings arrive. I don't recall who's tip it was but I won't forget the solution!
