does anyone that smiths these things know if it okay to dry fire them? i havn't got mine yet but what to know before. and please don't chime in if your not sure.

The most reliable gunsmith is the factory. I would contact them.

good advise .. i've called a couple of times. first time was after hours and the second i can't remember why i didn't get through but your absolutly right. i've heard good things about their customer service.

I personally prefer to use snap caps.
