Ha, ha.

Glad you got it and are enjoying it's benefits.

I appreciate mine (and the forum member who gifted it to me) every time I clean the pistol.

Cleaning and Maintenance of the R-9 / EDC Cleaning Frequency
« Last post by Praelus on October 19, 2018, 10:08:30 PM »
For those of you who adhere to the motto of ďfired rarely, carried often,Ē how frequently do you clean your R9?  That is, if youíre carrying on a daily basis but only shooting the gun at the range every few months, do you clean more frequently than your range sessions would dictate?  This would be done in order to address the hazards of a carry gun, particularly a pocket gun (e.g. sweat, pocket lint, dirt and debris) and ensure proper functioning.

Thanks for any input on this point!

You are welcome sir.

I am pretty sure you use of colorful language will change its tone once you get it and try it out.    ;D

The assembly tool arrived today - apparently I got the last one, as the machinist has stopped making them!  I had a chance to try it out, and assembly with the tool versus without is like night and day.  No more ripping of clothes, no more gnashing of teeth, and no more colorful language, just as you said.  In short, worth every penny!  Thanks again for the excellent advice!  :D

I carry my R9S as a BUG (Back Up Gun), my primary weapon is my FN FiveseveN 5.7x28.

I donít even carry a spare magazine for my Rohrbaugh, itís for when ďit all goes wrongĒ.

Thanks Griff, Iíll have to give that technique a try.  Also good to know that other people arenít executing special forces tactical reloads and Iím missing something.  I do have a spare mag holster for the R9 but may opt to leave it home most of the time as well.
