Chris, I have never noticed the drag marks on cases that went through my G32, ... either in .357 or .40. That's why I was surprised and concerned about those marks fired from my R9.
It did not affect the function the gun at all. Like I said over 200 rounds now, and the only glitch I believe was my fault for not seating the round far enough back in the mag.
I fired a lot of loose ammo. that I had given to me from various source's, and I did notice what looked like maybe a " Winchester Golden Sabre" that had a exceptionally hard primer, there was barely a indent, and I would be reluctant to fire that ammo. again .... just would not feel confident in it going off. I know I'd always have a second " hit" but I think I'll stick to the " Hydro-Shock 147s " .
Some good news, I went into the barn yesterday and found the dye penetrant for testing the mags, ... but could not fine any developer, so as soon as I can get to a supply house I will purchase some, do the testing and will post the results.
