No explanations, but from photos I see a new model, the real Coyote color, what looks to be an R9 slide with real sights and an R9 with contoured (like VZs) blue CF grips!!! I'm going to be sooooo broke soon...

My wife and I enjoyed seeing and handling the new tan and black Cerekote finish R9 at this year's SHOT.  Maria, Eric--and all--thanks for your hospitality.  And the R9 (I'll call it the "tribute edition" to the earliest model) with the blue-ish grips was great, too!  Choices, choices.... :-)

Anyone know when these will go on sale? I guess I'm in the minority but I absolutely love the Coyote color on the R9 and the grips look amazing with the whole setup....Price point also?

Don't know when they will go on sale, but the price, I think, will be $1795 and welcome to the Forum.    :)

Different strokes for different folks, if you like it thats good because someone needs to buy them and it won't be me. ;D

While I don't think I will be adding one to the kennel I have to admit that the pictures from the SHOT show look 100x better than the initial picture they put on their webpage and now I can see why some would like this color combo.

I'm going to reserve judgement on this one.  I remember how I first felt about a Glock!    :)

I think I would need to see one in person before I purchased one.
