This is certainly bad news for conservatives.

The nomination process will tie the Senate up for the rest of Obama's term.

This fight will separate the men from the boys.  We WILL find out just how deep
the "courage of convictions" runs in the Republican party.  Rhinos will not be able
to find cover because "ALL HANDS ON DECK" will the battle cry of both parties to
attempt to win the battle for decisions to be made by the SCOTUS over the next
quarter century.
I believe the fight will go far deeper than just the politicians in Washington.  We
will...and should...see it battled out in our local, county and state elections, forcing
previously non-participating citizens to become much more involved with what some
will label "the Bloodsport of Politics."  It will be necessary for thinking people to
stand and be counted...and to hell with political correctness...finally.
