I got to thinking, I haven't seen anything about the R.45 in quite a while.( At least I don't believe I've missed any thing). Any facts, rumors or just wishful thinking making the rounds? Come on, someone tell me something, anything, lie to me, just give me some hope! Gene
No deposit, and even at the low interest rates, my hundred in the bank may earn enough to buy a holster before the R45s are out. ;D

It is a fact that I'm starting a rumor right now that the R45 will be hitting the market in June of this year. I will also state that this is wishful thinking and I have only marginal evidence to back up this information. I also will lie to you and say that I have held the prototype and shot it with factory ok'ed +p+ ammo. It's smaller, lighter, and holds two more rounds than the R9 does and only recoils about half as much. It has checkered front and back straps, nite sites, a manual safty, a built in laser guidrod, 4 mags and take down tools in the factory aluminum hard case. It's a most fantastic gun. I said I would keep all this a secret but thought you guys might "need" to have this information. O-yea MSRP is $595 and they will knock 50% off that if you trade in a kel-tec at time of purchase.
Now you know! ::)
What if I were to say that the prototype was concealed in that Haugen "Boxter" the photograph of which I posted earlier in this thread?
(Would that it were! ;D)

Yep, thats what I call the shiny room. If I don't get job soon I might have to sell one of them bars. :'(
Reinz, that hurt!
Guess I deserve it for being a wisenheimer and still a newb here :)
Really wish there was an R45.
It's a lot of fun once you get the hang of it. I had no intention of flying but just looking for an alternative to floating around on a tin can for three years. Surprisingly, that was preordained and worked out well.
I flew seven years in the Navy and thirty one for the airline. That's enough. One thing that will do for you is that you gain a particular fondness for your own bed. I really dislike hotel rooms, even luxurious ones..
Do not speak of this topic and jinx it!
;D
