Title: Deleting Suspicious Members
Post by: DDGator on January 10, 2007, 11:36:55 AM
We have been spammed with a lot of new members lately that are clearly commercial.  While they don't post, I don't want them here.

New members with no posts and names that either a) don't make any sense, b) contain sexual terms of any kind, c) are commercial in nature, d) give an e-mail that originates from any Eastern European or Carribean domain, e) or otherwise seem just wrong to me, will be summarily deleted.

I have started the process -- but it is slow going.

IF I accidentally delete a legitimate new member of the forum, I apologize.  Please e-mail me and I will let you back in.

OR -- the best solution -- is just to make a post and introduce yourself.

Thanks!

Hey, this is "de-lurk" week on the www anyway, so yeah, let's hear from the new folks!

And thanks, Duane, again, for all you do!
