Hopefully that is true.  And I believe it to be.

However, vaporware has graced the covers of gun magazines before.

They don't call me eagle eye for nothin'.   ;D

The patio we were partying on has a VERY large screen TV.  I really couldn't believe it when I saw it.

Has anyone heard what the heck is taking so long? I have had one (any model) on order for two months. I called the wholesaler and they said they have not gotten any yet.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

The R9 came out about two years after we expected it. The DoubleTap is now on production revision #8 and they are overwhelmed with orders. I think they are just taking all precautions to get it right the first time.

I can't believe it's been about a year since I first mentioned this pistol and that the ship date has slipped so much in the intervening months.  If it's any indication of anything, Bud's removed all Heizer listings from their website this week.  Previously they had them all listed, including the white Hedy Jane model.

I think its a bad sign that Buds removed them.

Charter Arms made a press release about 10 weeks ago that the 9mm PITBULL rimless revolver was being released.  No one has one yet, and Centerfire Systems took the 9mm PITBULL out of their catalog.

My opinion is that the ads were generating calls by interested customers - but they were a waste of time for Centerfire so they just pulled it out of the catlog  at least that's my opinion.

Bud's mat have done the same with the Double Tap.

When did Charter Arms go back into business
or is it just the name?

John, I did see the Double Tap, very cool!

I set the DVR for the season premier because that was when I thought I would see the DoubleTap, but forgot to reset for the second episode.  Thought I might be able to catch it on HULU+ or My Primetime, but CBS doesn't participate in either program.  I missed it.
