Billib,

Did you see the Sig P224? It came out first in the DAK version but is now available in the DA/SA with the SRT trigger. Yes it's a lot more $$$ than the 290, but I enjoy spending other people's money ;)

No I'm not familiar with it. Their are now so many different
models made in so many different versions from so many
different makers its almost impossible for a busy person to
keep up. So I Googled Sig P224. Boy, thats one SWEET gun!
It reminds me of my P226 but chopped down. And available
in 9mm, .40S&W as well as the AMAZING .357Sig.

Damn, you've gone and got me lusting after yet another gun.
It better never go on sale. I have WAAAAY to many guns now.
A pox on your family, sir!!!!!!!

I was interested in the 224 in 9mm and have been told it may be a long time before they make a 9mm model if ever, it is being introduced in 40 and 357 Sig for now.

I really like the new 938, weighs 16oz is 9mm.

I almost bit on the P290 deal at Academy last Wednesday, but I maintained self control and walked out empty handed.  As it turns out it was a wise move on my part because I scored a 938 earlier today.   http://mousegunaddict.blogspot.com/2012/06/sig-p938-2012-wish-list-update.html   It's even the variant I wanted.   ;D  It will be my first Sig.

Congrats on the 938, I just won an auction on Gunbroker for one of the 938 Extremes and will post some pics when it arrives. ;D

Cool.  We'll be able to compare shooting notes.  If you are looking for a holster, I've got some leads on availability.

Some holster info would be great, I have read several posts that say they are using the 238 holsters but I'm not keen on stuffing a larger gun in a holster designed for a smaller one. ;D
Shoot me a PM or email with what you have, I located some 6rd ($32.95) & 7rd $39.95) mags, best price I could find. I also came across some custom grips.

I went to a gun show today looking for a 938.  None.  Of course it was the second day of the show, so if there were any to be had I am sure they flew out the door yesterday while I was at a match 200 miles away.

I did talk to a holster maker and he said he is using his 238 mold.

John, I've been anxiously waiting for you to post
some photos of your Sig & Pup side by side. BTW,
how do they compare at the range? I never paid
all that much attention to the Sig because I thought
that model was a .380......live and learn.

Well here are a couple of quick pictures although not very good but I think you can get the idea.

The Sig is more comfortable to shoot

Without mag ext on pup or +1 rd extension on Sig         With extensions on both
