Doug Turnbull has been a master firearms restoration expert for many years. He specializes in older Colts and Winchesters such as Single Action Army, Winchester '73, etc. He does beautiful case hardening work, for example, and other things to enhance the appearance and function of older guns. This R9 looks original but I would ask him if he had done any work on it if I were interested in it.
