Members that is - as of tonight 990.

I guess many folks join to lurk and read, which is fine - as I am sure we only generally see our ''hardcore'' nucleus of active folks.

Must say something tho for the interest in the R9 :)

Pretty impressive Duane - from small beginnings.

Since we're discussing how many members the forum has......................Do we have an estimate on the number of R9s that have been manufactured?

Jamie - until I ask Eric - I am guessing.  But I am thinking for now in region of well over 1,000.

Nothing more than ''guestimation"! :)

When I last to Maria she told me that Mine was an "older R9s" owing to the serial number.  They started with R0100, and went consecutively...I wonder what the highest number is...Maria said, I think, that they are now in the 1700's..

I have a serial # in the 1760s. When I talked to Maria a couple weeks ago I asked her how many R9 pistols they make a year. She said they were right at serial #2000. That puts them around 700+/- a year or so.

Anyway, I'm glad to see 1000 folks on board here.

That means that there only 1900 Rohrbaughs out there. Really, we are all possessors of a very rare firearm...and more than half of the rohrbaugh owners are right here.

I noticed actually we are just over 1500 mark now!!

Maybe we have more than half the owners here - altho we do not hear much from the bulk of the membership.

Happy New Year - It took me a while to start posting.  I would only read the boards.  Some boards can be intimidating.  Fortunately as Chris mentioned this board is very civil and freindly which helps a lot.  However it does have the "experts" which can make it difficult for some to make that "first step" or two.
And of course you always have those that just will not speak up in front of others, or - they hold back .
