Title: Tuscon, AZ
Post by: DDGator on August 07, 2004, 01:57:48 AM
I know this isn't the travel channel, but...

I was in Tucson this week on business.  Today I drove out to Tuscon Mountain Park on the outskirts of town.  This was my first time to really get out in the desert.  Pretty darn cool for a Florida boy.

When I took this picture, I was the only person around for miles and miles.  The quiet was deafening.

What an amazing country we live in...

Thanks for sharing the pic, DDGator.  The desert is an amazing world.  I often enjoyed the view with snow (yes, snow) on the ground or the springtime when the various cactus was in bloom.
