What ammo repeople using in their R9's? I UNDERSTAND the manual states 115 gr Silvertips but those are very hard to find, kind of like .22's a few years ago.

Any do's or dont's? Thanks

Carry: Most commonly Gold Dots, most use 124 gr., some factor 115 others 147.  Each pistol will have its own unique preferences.

Practice:  Federal Lawman which is FMJ but manufactured to mimic the Gold Dots.

Some others have other preferences.

I like the 124 gr. Gold Dots and Lawman also but I have switched to Federal 124 gr. HST for R9 carry.

My Pup likes 115 grain Gold dots! It also gobbles the 115 STHP rounds also.
I found what it likes and I haven't tried any others.  8)
