Found:WTB older two tone R9s
« on: July 23, 2014, 06:43:14 PM »
Guys, I have had a few offers on the stealth version but want to see if I can get an earlier version r9s, the two tone with the dark gray frame. If you have one you would like to sell please let me know. It has to be in mint condition. You can email me at maysalsa54@aol.com

Thanks,
Maykel

Is this the one you're looking for?    http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=429919385
Having a gun in your hand is much more effective than having the entire police department on the phone!

Here is an example of the dark Gray anodized:

Very hard to tell from pics but it is different from the early gray anodized shown here:

Good luck in your hunt - it is part of the fun. The gun broker link in the post above is a rare opportunity to pick up an early gray gun. The darker gray ones pop up for sale much more frequently.

Brenden, the one I'm looking for is the one you have pictured with the gray carbon fiber grips. Bluec2 also  shows it in the first picture he posted. I believe one of yours is just like that one. Are you looking to sell it?

Are you talking about the Black CF grips? That's an early Deer Park model..

Generalizations are not always accurate. I have a black CF grip model that was a Farmingdale.

I wasn't speaking of it do to the grip, but because it was a deer park.
Any grip can be on any model. I'm sure you realize that I know that.

Yes, I know you know it but there have been some misconceptions here about Farmingdale and Deer Park identifiers other than the name such as S/Ns, carbon fiber grip color, etc.
