herter's

Fired 60 rounds at range today. 48 rounds of gold dots (124): 40 in center mass at 10 yards. No issues. 12 rounds of Herter's (ammo is scarce): 4 failures to fire, although they all fired on second strike. Value vs. cheap. Best wishes, Doc  :)

Thanks for the range report and very familiar story: Herter's is loaded by Sellier and Bellot, and that spells hard primers, not unlike Hornady.
