new holster design
« on: August 10, 2010, 11:22:59 PM »
Just got a Ritchie Leather holster for the pup and its very comfortable in that its worn between the belt & the pants.

It conceals well and is not cheap as its a custom so far,I am trying to convince him to make it for other guns as well as its more comfortable than IWB any day.

Myself and another retiree from the P.D. both got one from him and we love them, just an FYI to those that use the pups and dont just save um for safe queens.

Sounds good scaat.  Post a picture, as folks here love the photos.  I'll post his website.  Great looking holsters.  Thanks.

The 2 middle shots are of the inside the waist band holster, the other 3 shots are the 'between pants & belt' model.

That is why they ride differently, the 'between' is the most comfortable to me and my - er waistline.

scaat.  Thank's for the pictures.  What's that in your back pocket?   A knife, I would think, but what kind?

Skip Ritchie was a partner with Lou Alessi, and his work certainly bears the mark of that master craftsman in gunleather. I am fortunate to have one of Lou's holsters in my safe -- a holster he made for me "back in the day" when my EDC was a Colt Mustang.
