I still think that the 29 oz. empty weight is a mistake or it loses my interest real quick.

A full size Glock 21 weighs 26.5 oz. and a XD45 weighs 30 oz. empty. That weight has to be wrong.

I wouldn't bet that it is wrong; their website also says 27 oz. with a flush magazine; unless they mixed up the models.
