NEW R9S FOR SALE - Sold
« on: June 08, 2007, 10:37:35 PM »
NOTE:  I previously posted the ad below on the Seecamp Forum but the potenial buyer ran into personal problems and could not come up with the funds.  I will only post it here until next week some time and if not sold will repost on the Seecamp Forum.

NEW ROHRBAUGH R9 9MM – NEVER FIRED OR CARRIED

PICTURES BELOW

SELLING MY SECOND NIB R9 BOUGHT FROM TOM WATSON (theirishguard) HERE ON THE FORUM

DECIDED MY ORIGINAL R9 IS ENOUGH AND DON’T NEED A SECOND   :)

INCLUDES:
ALL ORIGINAL PAPERS AND LIFE TIME WARRANY CARD
HAS CARBON FIBER GRIPS
EXTRA MAGAZINE AND RECOIL SPRING
ONE RJ FIRST GENERATION TAKE DOWN STOPSTICK

YOU CAN’T GET CARBON FIBER GRIPS NOW – IF YOU COULD IT WOULD BE ABOUT A $150 EXTRA OPTION.

SELLING BELOW MY COST FOR $850 PLUS $35 SHIPPING
PAYMENT USPS MONEY ORDER
MY FFL TO YOURS
(If you live in Western PA. you can save the shipping)

(A new one now, plus buying carbon fiber grips separate somewhere, would be at least $1200 I would guess – Tom may know better)

Since my original R9 feeds flawless I would hope this one does also.
I would still call Rohrbaugh and order the new inexpensive stronger magazine spring upgrade – this solved the FTF problems for most of the few that had them by using the new magazine spring.  I hear there is a new recoil spring also so you don’t have to change them so often.

PM IF INTERESTED  --  not really looking for trades

PICTURES BELOW ARE HOW MY ORIGINAL R9 THAT I AM KEEPING SHOOTS
ONE BEING SOLD ABOVE HAS NOT BEEN FIRED

Rohrbaugh R9 at about 21 feet - ammo 115 GDHP

Dave,

Now you are going to go for a Stealth, right?  Good move I like the Stealth much more than I thought I would.  Sorry to go off topic.

Marvin - thanks for the nice comments.

Mike - maybe some day I'll go for a second R9 again - if I do it will be a stealth.  As of now my original works great so one R9 is enough.  Now if we were talking Seecamps I would be embarrased to tell you how many of those I have.

In reality I am selling the new R9 to purchase a new S&W AR rifle - that is what I told my lovely wife.  I have never owned an AR so decided to take the plunge.  I could have bought the AR without selling the extra R9 but I felt the R9 needed someone who would use it and not just sit in a safe.

Take care
Dave
