Compliment to :  theirishguard  (Tom)
« on: June 30, 2005, 10:24:44 PM »
I ordered a expensive gun from (Tom) dealer for theirishguard, just want everyone on this Forum to know he is excellent to deal with, keeps you informed of the status of your gun, when you e-mail him he replies immediately, he is what you expect of a Gun Dealer.

The main thing is I know that he can be trusted through the internet.

Note:

I have never met Tom or have spoken to him, everything was through the internet.

This Forum has alot of Good people on it.

Thank You :)

Compliments like that sure ain't casual and mean a lot.

I like to think here on the forum we have folks who show courtesy, respect and above all - have integrity.  Something that for most part I find in good supply glad to say, among us gun-owners.

Tom - I was not unsure before but now have confirmation.  Glad to have you with us ''good guys'' :)  It is good too to see praise where praise is due - I always find folks well keen to complain but am of the mind that when good service is received, it deserves recognition.

Thx Ratzo - good post.  Tom - another choc-chip cookie is yours Sir! :D

Thanks to Tom and the inimitable Rohrbaughs, I picked
up #747 this week[ordered in Sept.]. This morning I
put 30 flawless rounds of Gold Dots through it and we
loved every one of them.

Hey Tracker, Soooo happy that the 747 worked well and you had fun. Another flawless run with Gold Dot 124's. Take good care of the pups.  Regards, Tom

tracker, I sure like your serial number 747!  You must have waited a while for that one.

I almost asked about using the call letters of my amateur radio station W8nn, but I didn't know if they would go for four alphanumeric characters.

Besides, our good Michigan dealer Performance Firearms let me have a R9S arriving  from an order placed last October.

I only waited a few weeks.

Thanks, Dave; No, I didn't wait for it[#747].
When mine came in Tom told me that there
were several nos. available in the 74xxx series
but 747 was reserved for him. I relayed to him my
interest in that number and we hung up, me thinking
#743 was mine. He called me back a few days later,
saying that I could have the 747. Needless to say I
am on his team.

Well Tracker - I guess Tom deserves a ride in the copilot seat for that one.

I was confident dealing with Tom even before placing my R9 order just by reading his posts.  He has kept me informed on my order that is due in the near future.  A great guy - if I ever get down to Dallas I will be sure to look him up.

Hey Tracker, You had a better reason to have 747 than I did.  We aim to please. I am glad you are happy with it.  Tom

The Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary defines the term "class act" as: "an example of outstanding quality or prestige."

Ever since Tom began posting on the Forum, I have had the impression that he is one "class act."  The comments posted above by Ratzo and Tracker confirm that impression.

Tom is a humdinger.

I would absolutely feel safe doing business with him on the internet.
