Karma, R9 Style!
« on: July 18, 2010, 04:25:10 PM »
While doing some safe cleaning the other day I came across a DeSantis Nemisis pocket holster that a forum member sent to me free of charge while I was eagerly awaiting for my Palehorse Graham holsters to arrive(9mos later).

I'm sorry I do not remember this generous genteleman, I believe his moniker was John_ _.
Not sure.
If you remember, John, or whom ever, please step forward to take credit. --

for I wish to pass the baton.

The first new forum member who is waiting for a new holster to arrive for their new R9 just needs to claim this holster with the stipulation to do the same.

When their holster arrives, pass it on- free of charge.

By the way, this is not a fancy holster, but it is functional , retails for $22.95 on Rorhbaugh website.
But at least you don't have to hunt for it and it's free to your door.

Your stock of holsters is probably much better than Roberts ;D

Reinz:

That's one class act there! We need to keep this thread bumped toward the top for those new to the Forum.

Many of the forums I'm on have a Pay-It-Forward section.
The one big No-No is taking something and then offering it for sale elsewhere, not a common or big problem but it has happened.

The rule is offer up something you no longer use or need. Nobody can claim it unless they first offer something up for the next person.
The person who offers the item up pays the shipping to the person claiming there item.
It is a lot of fun and helps clean out that closet or box full of items you no longer need or use and don't want to be bothered selling.

It sounds like the "Give away a kidney" program on a smaller scale.

I have some first hand knowledge on the subject, my
son-inlaw had a kidney transplant a couple of years ago. He also had a pancreas transplant, but due to complications they had to remove the pancreas after a few weeks. He is doing very well with the new kidney.  He is 38 years old and has been diabetic since he was 8.

John

Glad he is doing well!! I too have first hand knowledge with the transplant process.. ;)

No kidney,but I had a bi-lateral lung transplant!

Ya give up one problem for a myriad of others..

The other choice is not good either.. :(

The "Karma" giveaway is a great idea!! 8)
