I thought so to.

I have never been happy with the stock grips, the smooth or the Hogue.

Once i tried my first set of VZ grips i was hooked.

I have two sets of the G10 checkered. They give me more controll and a better grip. The checkering makes a world of difference.

I have one set of VZ carbon fiber grips. I put these on my PUP with no 9MM stampings on the barrel. They look great and feel better than the OEM grips. I dont intend on carrying this PUP all the time, thats why i decided on the carbon fiber not the checkered G10.

Does anyone have any pictures of the black cherry, black grey or brown on an all silver gun?

Speaking of checkering --

on the VZ grips, is there enough?

Just looking at them, I would think I would want checkering at the top as well.

That is why I have held off.

I have a set on my Carry 1911 and LOVE them!

For me it adds just enough to get a better purchase on the PUP! :)

I wold not add any more checkering.

The way I look at it, if you give them a try and like them than keep them. If you don't, sell them.

They are not an expensive grip If you are not happy, and you can recoup most of your initial investiment.

Just a thought? :)

My grip are keepers! ;D

I would keep them regardless.

When it comes to gun stuff, I have a hard time letting go.
