Everyone did not enclose their user name with payment, I would make things a lot easier if that was enclosed. Anyway:

Chris O ,from Pa. will get his on the way tomorrow..
Matthew A., from Ca., will also go out tomorrow.
Cpt. Rick M. from Ohio also went out today

Thanks
Kevin

Just got the tool in the mail today. I went ahead and media blasted it with the same size glass bead that the slides were finished with for a bit of added fun. It is now an identical match. Too bad I didn't have a laser engraver to write Rohrbaugh on it too.

Glad you like it. They did turn out well. It was a 'bit' of a bi%@h having to pay over 400 up front to get these but it's worth it if people like them. I just hope everyone that said they wanted one pays up. I would hate to get stuck with 5-6.

Beautifully done Kevin. A nice accessory for the R9s.

I like your thoughts offroad. . . . . That "look" with the 175/325 glassbead at about 70 - 80 lbs psi about 4 inches away from your work is a great look. I used that same technique on the case of my 1985 BMW K100 standard motorcycle engine cases and really gave that bike "a look" of class. Good stuff here on this forum aye guys!?  Ha haa . . . . . . Keep up the great work.

I also know how to and own the correct grit polishing cloths to polish the stainless like the finish used on Rolex oyster bracelets.

I spoke with my gunsmith about engraving. No problem. Only thing is it would have to br done as a sheet BEFORE they were cut out. He said once out it would be too expensive to remount them and do them one at a time.

To engrave them with "ROHRBAUGH" on a new batch would only bring the price to $31 each shipped..

I would be glad to do this but I need to be paid for those who committed themselves to the first batch, I see getting stuck here, and also have payment sent in advance for the engraved ones. He will do this iif we get a minimum of 10.

I don't mind doing this for nothing, on my end, if it will help other members out as long as it doesn't cost me money.

Beyond my comprehension. Originally I tried using channel locks to put things back. Some luck, but I ended up not using anything but my fingers.I have not had anything flying across the room in quite a few years,so I must have it down.
   I do wear glasses thou.
It was a good primer for learning how to take the main recoil spring out of my two 1911's,which have enough muscle to fly into the neighbor's yard.
