I have two Clipdraws -- one on a Colt M1991A1 and the other on my HK P7. For the Colt, the purpose of the Clipdraw is merely to enhance retention of the pistol in the Galco Yaqui Paddle holster I prefer to use. I don't carry the Colt without a holster. The "squeeze cocker" is different. I'll somtimes carry it in the cross-draw position IWB secured by the Clipdraw.

The P7 is a different animal anyway - a non-issue.

In reading my earlier post I note that I neglected to state specifically that I agree with the "dangerous carry" assertion of the linked article. As Reinz notes, the P7 is simply "a different animal."
